Luxoderm

Luxoderm enables healthcare professionals to accelerate the healing of chronic wounds.

Anthony Donabedian, Louis Dorlencourt, MedTech startup developing WoundLight, a photonic medical device for the treatment of chronic wounds

In France, over two million people live with a chronic wound - and wait on average more than 220 days to heal. A severe, costly medical reality that is still too often accepted as inevitable. Luxoderm is developing WoundLight, a patented, portable, and non-invasive medical device, which accelerates healing by promoting the transition from the inflammatory phase to the proliferation phase. Fast, contactless, and easy to use, it significantly improves patients' quality of life, reduces hospitalizations, and lowers treatment costs - for healthcare professionals and the healthcare system as a whole.

The next step

Luxoderm is about to achieve two decisive milestones: validating WoundLight's efficacy thanks to the preclinical results in vivo on murine models, and securing the necessary funding to launch the pre-industrialization phase in preparation for a clinical study. These are essential steps on the path to a certified and widely deployable medical device.
