Thirty2

Thirty2 develops bio-based dyes and pigments derived from precision fermentation for the textile industry.

Olivier Fouques, Radosław Ejsmont, Jérôme Delay, and Célina Buttin, co-founders of Thirty2, a deep tech startup specializing in bio-based dyes for the textile industry

Every year, millions of tons of petrochemical dyes are discharged into global textile production chains – with significant environmental consequences. Thirty2 tackles this problem at its root by developing entirely bio-based dyes and pigments derived from precision fermentation. The company starts with indigo, the emblem of denim and one of the industry's most polluting dyes, offering a high-performance solution that is directly integrable into existing production lines – without compromising on quality, without revolutionizing processes.

The next step

Thirty2 is entering an intense structuring phase: closing a fundraising round to finance the establishment of a small-scale industrial production line, while building the R&D and production team that will drive its future. Three simultaneous projects that outline the trajectory of a rapidly accelerating startup.
