Genomines extracts metal from low-concentration polluted soils using genetically enhanced hyperaccumulating plants.
It then transforms it into Class 1 nickel, nickel sulfate, and nickel oxide.
The startup co-founded by Fabien Koutchekian and Dali Rashid is currently being accelerated by the 21st by CentraleSupélec program.
As part of this, it collaborates notably with Arnaud Buch, professor at CentraleSupélec and researcher at the LGPMlaboratory, on the nickel extraction and purification process. Thanks to Francois Puel (Director of LGPM) and Bernard Yannou (Deputy Director of Research) for facilitating this collaboration!
Discover this scientific collaboration between one of our accelerator's most promising startups and the laboratory specializing in process and materials engineering.
