Raidium raises 16 million euros to revolutionize medical imaging with foundation models🎉

One of the most significant challenges in radiography is the time required to analyze and report on imaging results. Traditional methods often rely on manual systems which can take hours, or even days, to process large volumes of data, delaying critical diagnoses.

‍

Raidium is working to address this, aiming to save time and improve accuracy for radiologists with their solution. Co-founded by Dr. Paul Herent and Pierre Manceron, Raidium leverages deep-learning algorithms for medical imaging data analysis, which allows for 2,500 times faster than manual methods. ‍

Since their pre-seed round in June 2023, Paul and Pierre have built an exceptional team, launched the training of the first foundation model (Large Vision Language Model) on CT and MRI scans, and prototyped an innovative user interface for radiologists.

‍

‍

“Our ambition is to put foundation models into the hands of radiologists and fully leverage medical imaging to develop innovative biomarkers, which will serve both research and patients.”

‍

This €16 million funding round will enable Raidium to support its growth, back numerous industrial and academic research projects on biomarkers, and continue to expand its world-class team.

‍

Raidium is also part of the #Future40 of Station F 2024.

‍

Congratulations to the team! 👏🏽
