Climate change is causing an increase in forest mortality
Forest ecosystems are being disrupted by drought (fires, deadly bark beetle attacks, diseases). Faced with this problematic situation, reforestation is necessary but still too slow and arduous, resulting in high costs and uncertainty for forest owners.
Mycélium was created to address these challenges.
This startup helps forests adapt to climate change; its unique reforestation process not only allows for faster restoration of a forest after damage, but also improves its future resilience.
Mycélium was founded with the aim of leveraging the potential of technology to benefit French and European forests. Our startup is led by Valérian (mechatronics & machine learning), Mathieu (forest engineering), and Théo (strategy and business development).
