ZenkoLab is developing an AI triage algorithm that analyzes retinal images in under a minute, automatically prioritizing urgent cases and freeing up to 50% of medical time. The solution is a plug-and-play SaaS that requires no dedicated hardware: partner centers access the platform via subscription or pay-per-use, depending on their analysis volume. This 100% software-based model allows for high gross margins and rapid scalability from the very first partner.
The next step
ZenkoLab is currently in the seed stage. The tool has been developed and tested on over 200,000 annotated images, and initial real-world validations are underway with hospital partners and tele-ophthalmology networks, with a phased commercial rollout planned for 2026. Three key pillars are driving this growth: clinical validation in real-world conditions, navigating the CE regulatory pathway, and structuring for scale. In parallel, the startup is working to secure non-dilutive funding from BPI and ANR to accelerate growth without diluting its long-term vision.
