Entrepreneurship Tech Year: season 2 is underway with 12 impact-driven projects

ETY: A gap year to launch your venture full-time

The Entrepreneurship Tech Year is an incubation program for CentraleSupélec students, run by 21st by CentraleSupélec in partnership with AgroParisTech and ESSEC. Its unique feature: it takes place during a gap year, allowing entrepreneurs to work full-time on their projects rather than squeezing them in alongside their studies.

The goal is to help every project reach the next level, regardless of its starting point. The most advanced ventures will focus on validating their market, structuring their product, and accelerating their growth to prepare for a full-time transition into entrepreneurship.

Support designed to take you to the next level

To tackle this challenge, entrepreneurs rely on three pillars. First, close coaching provided by the 21st by CentraleSupélec team, which begins with a 360° diagnostic of each project to identify priority needs. Second, access to the CentraleSupélec resources and ecosystem: experts, alumni, partners, and a network of entrepreneurs. Finally, immersive days at Station F, the world's largest startup campus, to work in the heart of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Throughout the program, thematic days pace the progress of the projects: customer discovery, the student-entrepreneur mindset, pitching and equity stories, all leading up to a learning expedition and the final Demoday.

Two opening days to lay the groundwork

The cohort kicked off on September 3rd at Station F. The program included a pitch from each project to present their ambitions and expectations, an introduction to the support and resources available, and a discussion with Hugo Puybareau and Maxence Rossignol, co-founders of Jayn. As ETY alumni, they came to share their journey and the lessons learned from their own time in the program.

The second day, led by Priscille Raynaud and Nicolas Cadet, tackled a decisive question for any founder: how to find the right partners and build a strong support system. Choosing co-founders, defining roles, and assembling a core circle of mentors and advisors are all essential factors that determine a project's long-term stability.

Season 1: A first report that sets the tone

The first season of ETY supported 6 projects. In just a few months, it resulted in over 30 coaching sessions, 5 pivots, and more than €500k in generated revenue. Today, 5 of these projects are still active, led by students who have almost all chosen to continue in the Entrepreneurship track. These results confirm the program's mission: to transform a student idea into a sustainable entrepreneurial venture.

🔋 Casawatt, Valentin Roques
For companies electrifying their fleets, tracking and reimbursing employee home charging remains a challenge. Casawatt makes it easy to account for this usage without installing any hardware, removing a practical barrier to the transition toward electric mobility.

💊 Optiyum, Laurianne Dimina
In a crowded and often opaque dietary supplement market, it is hard to know what you actually need. Optiyum’s AI identifies the supplements best suited to each individual, enabling more informed health choices.

🚗 Drive Lady, Camille Cottard
For many women, traveling at night remains a source of anxiety, sometimes leading them to avoid certain trips altogether. Drive Lady offers an all-female carpooling network, ensuring everyone can travel with peace of mind, day or night.

🐸 Sylvy, Clément Djezvedjian and Aymeric Desbazeille
Experimental research requires a significant amount of time spent on repetitive tasks. Sylvy is developing an AI agent dedicated to researchers to accelerate experiments and allow them to focus on what drives scientific progress.

🌻 Vraiment irrésistibles, Frédérique Boury
Vraiment irrésistibles designs, implements, and evaluates food-based experiences rooted in nutritional science and taste education. By bringing together families, schools, local organic producers, and communities, the project helps families adopt healthy and sustainable eating habits.

📐 Siimply, Raphael Simonutti
Mathematics remains a source of difficulty and inequality for many high school students. Siimply supports them in their learning to help them regain confidence and make progress.

🎙️ Vibecut, Paul Noel-Bertin
Broadcasting across multiple platforms requires time-consuming editing work for streamers. Vibecut automates this editing process, allowing them to dedicate their energy to content creation and their community.

🤑 SPRT Société, Jules Lohnherr
SPRT Société is developing a management fund platform dedicated to crypto-assets to structure and increase accessibility to investing in this asset class.

⚡ La Caisse Énergie, Julien Gauthier and Lucien Josso
Producing and sharing one's own renewable energy remains complex for most, hindered by both technical and financial barriers. La Caisse Énergie develops, finances, and operates turnkey collective self-consumption projects under 300 kWp, enabling businesses, local authorities, and individuals to consume local, renewable energy.

🌱 Solentii, Loke Stendahl and Christian Ottini
Legumes are key to a more sustainable diet, yet they remain absent from most of our breakfasts. Solentii offers organic granola made from chickpeas and lentils, grain-free and naturally rich in protein and fiber.

🐕 Pelote, Axel Corbière‍

Paper health records, scattered prescriptions, and history lost when switching vets: medical tracking for pets is often fragmented. Pelote digitizes their medical records to simplify this process, supporting both their health and their owners' peace of mind.
