The Jury for this first edition was chaired by Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, Secretary of State for Development and International Partnerships.

AppHop is innovative hospital software that helps nurses inventory expired medications. This way, AppHop collects data, analyzes it to anticipate stock destined to expire, and finds another department capable of using them to transfer these stocks. This project saves approximately €200,000 per year per university hospital, secures the medication supply chain for patient health, and saves time for healthcare staff. Finally, it prevents pharmaceutical waste that is particularly difficult to treat.
