At the heart of CentraleSupélec, entrepreneurship is more than just an elective or a specialization. It is a core dimension woven throughout the entire curriculum, one that every student can embrace at their own pace. This was the message behind the "Entrepreneurship at CentraleSupélec" Pitch & Burger, an event designed with a deliberately relaxed format to encourage direct interaction between students, entrepreneurs, and faculty. The agenda featured an overview of the school's programs and support resources, but most importantly, it showcased personal stories from entrepreneurs who came to share their journeys.
Two entrepreneurial journeys
The evening featured two entrepreneurs from the CentraleSupélec ecosystem: Bérénice Arias, co-founder ofAtmosph'Air, and Louis Regnier, co-founder of Soraccel. Their stories gave the audience a firsthand look at what it really means to get started.
Both reflected on the key stages of their journey: the spark that drove them to become entrepreneurs, their initial successes, and the doubts that inevitably come with launching a startup. They also touched on the challenges that lie ahead.
Entrepreneurship can be learned
If there is one takeaway from the evening, it is this: entrepreneurship is not just for those who arrive at CentraleSupélec with a project or a startup idea already in mind.
Not having an idea, not knowing where to start, or simply feeling the urge to create and build something: these situations are not only common, but perfectly valid. As the speakers' journeys showed, the entrepreneurial path is rarely a straight line.
Entrepreneurship is, above all, a process that is built, tested, and learned. It is precisely to support this growth that CentraleSupélec has designed a set of complementary programs.
An entrepreneurial path built at your own pace
At CentraleSupélec, everything is designed to allow every student to add an entrepreneurial dimension to their education, whenever they choose.
A continuum of training throughout the engineering program
From discovery to advanced study, the school offers a consistent progression:
- The CS+E program, in the first and second years, led by Pascaline Bertaux and Vincent Bernard, to get started with entrepreneurship.
- The Entrepreneurship Tech Year, a gap year supervised by Nicolas Cadet, to focus full-time on your project.
- The CS Entrepreneurs track, led by Eric Langrognet, to deepen and structure your approach.
21st by CentraleSupélec, the school's incubator
Once the project is launched, 21st by CentraleSupélec takes over to support entrepreneurs in their development, complementing their academic training.
Entrepreneurship Grants
Each year, thanks to the support of the CentraleSupélec Foundation, Entrepreneurship Grants help project leaders get off to a strong start.
A community that opens doors
Beyond the training programs and resources, the ecosystem's greatest strength remains its community: a network of high-level entrepreneurs ready to share their experience and open doors for the next generation.
