AppHop

AppHop develops a prediction and redistribution model to reduce medication waste in hospitals.

Up to €300M worth of medication is wasted annually by French hospitals, and this waste is highly polluting! AppHop develops a prediction and redistribution model that helps save these medications from being wasted in hospitals.

The goal is to use 100% of medications before they expire:

1- Digitization: Today, App Hop provides a digital tool to facilitate medication management by nurses. This eases the workload for healthcare staff, reduces errors, and generates data.

2- Modeling: Using a model fed by various data points, based on mathematics and artificial intelligence, this startup predicts medication consumption and expiration.

3- Reallocation: Thanks to their model, they achieve optimal reallocation between departments within the same hospital to ensure every medication is used before it reaches its expiration date.

Business Model : Licensing agreement with a fixed and a variable component

Development Stage : TLR 3, experimental commitment with Grenoble University Hospital and ongoing negotiations with clinic groups.

Challenges for the year ahead : Successfully complete the experimentation and continue ongoing negotiations.
