🎙️ Kicking off the evening, Romain Soubeyran (CEO) and Stéphanie Hajjar (Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation) reiterated the school's clear ambition:

To make CentraleSupélec the benchmark for Deeptech and AI entrepreneurship in France.

🔹 We are building on a strong historical foundation: to date, 1270 startups founded by our alumni – including 10 unicorns – with a valuation of 82 billion euros.

🔹 Over 200 projects supported in 2025, led by researcher-entrepreneurs, students, and alumni, with strong momentum in deeptech and artificial intelligence.

🔹 50 startups in acceleration this year, 60% of which are AI-related: foundation models, infrastructure, nanophotonics, verticalized AI… And on the R&D side, 20 research collaborations have emerged between startups and laboratories.

🔹 On the funding side, the startups in our accelerator have raised a total of 100 million euros this year, and 80% of them have secured funding.

This energy and dynamism were brought to life on stage through the pitches of talented and visionary entrepreneurs supported by the 21st by CentraleSupélec accelerator: Entalpic, RainPath, Papilio.bio, LumiSync, Ed.ai, Luxoderm, Atmosph’Air, Dittoclean, Spark Cleantech, Alpic.

Furthermore, the 21st by CentraleSupélec teams also work daily to identify and develop the next generation of talent who will operate in Deeptech and AI tomorrow. To achieve this, we support the next generation with 1,350 students introduced to entrepreneurship this year, and 90 projects incubated on our campus.

Finally, we can count on the support of a community unique in France:

🔹 The CS Venture fund – led by our alumni – which aims to finance tomorrow's innovations

🔹 Dedicated academic staff, over 100 mobilized mentors & experts, donors supporting our team, and partner investment funds.

Also, a community of inspiring experts and speakers, who were on stage Wednesday evening to discuss the future of agentic artificial intelligence:

🔹Audrey Lacombe (Associate Partner McKinsey France/ QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey) paved the way with “Seizing the agentic AI advantage,” an analysis aimed at CEOs to help them better understand the emerging era of agentic AI.

🔹 Nikolay Rodionov (Co-founder Alpic), Frédéric Pascal (VP AI Université Paris-Saclay), Wassila Ouerdane (AI Professor CentraleSupélec) explored the current and future role of autonomous agents in research and industry.

A huge thank you to our entrepreneurs and speakers who made this evening a success. Thanks to our partners — McKinsey France, Banque Populaire Rives de Paris and Institut DataIA Paris-Saclay, as well as to Antoine Perrin for moderating.

Finally, a big thank you to our community of mentors, alumni, and investors — for their commitment to us. And thanks to the entire 21st team for their daily dedication: Stephanie Hajjar, Rodolphe Rosier, Romain Bonjean, Nicolas Cadet, Alexis Kobassian, Brice Mainier, Alex Dunglas, Juliette Muller and Olivia Rees.

Together, let's continue to work towards ensuring that the French deeptech ecosystem becomes a major scientific, industrial, and human force for the future.
