Le Repaire was packed with many 1st-year engineering students who came to hear the inspiring stories from Marguerite Boscq, co-founder of Volthena, and Erwan Pannier ✊🌱, co-founder of Spark Cleantech. Their journeys and insights helped the students present better understand the challenges, but also the immense opportunities offered by an entrepreneurial venture.

Participants were able to chat freely over burgers, ask all their questions, and discover the various entrepreneurial programs available to CentraleSupélec students CentraleSupélec :

the CS+E Pathway (1st/2nd year) presented by Maxime Renault;

the Entrepreneur Tech Year (Gap Year) with Nicolas Cadet ;

the Entrepreneur Track (3rd year) with Eric Langrognet ;

the 21st by CentraleSupélec incubator, with Brice Mainier.

Maxime Renault – CS+E Program Instructor (1st/2nd Year)

"13 years ago, I was a student. I got started in the field thanks to Éric Langrognet's courses. What we ask of our speakers is to share the behind-the-scenes of entrepreneurship. Last year, out of 40 students, 38 were very complimentary."

Nicolas Cadet – Academic Head, Entrepreneur Tech Year (Gap Year)

"The advantage of the ETI is being able to dedicate six full months to your project during your gap year."

Éric Langrognet – Academic Head, Entrepreneur Program (3rd Year)

"What do you need to live a comfortable inner life? What allows you to have maximum impact and autonomy over your project or career?

The CentraleSupélec Entrepreneur Program has existed for over 20 years. More than 150 companies have been created by its alumni.

Among the students I mentor, one-third become entrepreneurs, and two-thirds return to salaried employment. But in 100% of cases, you emerge completely transformed as a person. You gain courage, more than the average person, and the ability to tackle uncertain projects."

Erwan Pannier – Co-founder, Spark Cleantech

"Chasing the 'perfect idea' at all costs to start a company isn't necessarily the best approach. For me, I first wanted to address a problem, a topic that truly motivated me.

Am I listening to what people tell me? Am I able to question my project?

The thing I'm most proud of is the team we've built around Spark Cleantech today. The key is building the right team. It happens in stages, because big projects don't get built by themselves."

Marguerite Boscq - Co-founder Volthena

"Entrepreneurship means embracing multiple iterations while maintaining your motivation and determination."

Thanks to Genius CentraleSupélec for organizing this wonderful evening of discovery and exchange, and thanks to Pics for capturing the moment!
