Microelectronics is no longer advancing fast enough in terms of performance and energy consumption to meet the demands of cutting-edge industries (5G/6G, AI, Quantum...), and its potential is severely limited by the physical constraints on transistor size. Photonics therefore emerges as the ideal solution to take over and continue to offer ever faster and more energy-efficient data processing.

It is in this context that the startup Lumisync will commercialize one of the missing links for the large-scale production of photonic integrated circuits (PICs): the world's first 100% photonic oscillator, a component that enables integrated circuits to synchronize data at the speed of light.

Founded in 2024, Entalpic is a cutting-edge startup in generative AI applied to the chemical industry, having secured €8.5 million in seed funding from leading funds such as Breega, Cathay Innovation, and Felicis. Entalpic leverages deep expertise to develop AI solutions that decarbonize industrial chemistry. The company's advanced AI platform designs catalysts to optimize chemical processes in areas such as energy storage, fertilizer production, and pollution control, combining open and proprietary research.

Spark Cleantech | Patrick Peters & Erwan Pannier

Spark Cleantech produces decarbonized hydrogen using 4x less electricity than water electrolysis, employing a patented pulsed cold plasma process that separates (bio)methane into hydrogen and solid carbon, thus emitting no CO2.

The modular Spark system will enable the production of up to 1000 kg of hydrogen per day, directly on-site, to meet industrial needs by eliminating the constraints and costs associated with hydrogen transport and storage.
