Recap of the 21st Demoday by CentraleSupélec: 16 startups presented to investors

published on
19 April 2023

For this event, 16 of our startups were invited to pitch their projects to over 60 guests, including 16 investment funds and business angels, key corporate partners of STATION F, and CentraleSupélec alumni.

This Demoday was also exclusively open – via video streaming – to CentraleSupélec Foundation donors based abroad.

An opportunity for these investors to get an overview of the 21st program's activities.

💡 Discover the Demoday 2023 booklet distributed to investors, which presents the startups from our incubator and accelerator.

An event hosted by Anita de Voisins (Director of Entrepreneurship, CentraleSupélec), Rodolphe Rosier (Deputy Director of Entrepreneurship, CentraleSupélec), and Grégoire Burgé (Deputy Director of Innovation, AgroParisTech), partner for the innovation domain Climate & Biodiversity.

Presentation of the 16 startups invited to pitch

ZoeCare, presented by Thomas Saphir

ZoeCare is the invisible assistant for the elderly. It allows caregivers to perform their duties with peace of mind, by assisting them in the instant detection of falls, or the identification of abnormal behaviors, such as aggression.

Thomas Saphir, co-founder of Zoe Care

Tinkiet, presented by Aassem Diyane

Tinkiet develops an Intelligent Medication Supervision and Supply System (SISAM) for healthcare facilities. Their solution, based on Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things, allows for the supervision and prediction of medication consumption in care units to prevent stockouts.

Aassem Diyane, co-founder Tinkiet

SonarVision, presented by Nathan Daix

SonarVision develops an iOS application enabling visually impaired people to move independently. Thanks to this augmented reality app that perceives and understands the environment, the user follows a virtual guide using 3D sound and vibrations.

Visually impaired people gain confidence and autonomy.

Nathan Daix, co-founder SonarVision

Raidium, presented by Paul Herent

Raidium uses the latest generations of deep learning algorithms for medical imaging data analysis. The startup is developing a new-generation radiological console, which provides AI assistance directly into the radiologist's workflow, via a diagnostic suggestion interface.

Paul Herent, co-founder Raidium

Kolibri, presented by Gabriel Dumy

Kolibri develops a proprietary cell engineering platform, combining cutting-edge techniques in acoustics and biology. Kolibri facilitates drug discovery and development, with 90x higher yield, while reducing production costs by up to 50x.

Gabriel Dumy, Kolibri co-founder

Scienta Lab, presented by Vincent Bouget

To enhance scientific understanding of autoimmune diseases, Scienta Lab is developing a machine learning-based technological platform designed to predict the onset, progression, and treatment response at an individual level.

Scienta Lab collaborates closely with hospitals and medical research centers to ensure the scientific excellence of its projects.

Vincent Bouget, Scienta Lab co-founder

Galinios, presented by Clément Garrigue

Galinios offers an autonomous bird scaring device. This fixed station, installed in a field, can monitor 3 hectares of crops. In real-time, the device monitors the field and can detect bird attacks on the crop.

Clément Garrigue, Galinios co-founder

Kanop, presented by Romain Fau

Kanop is developing a satellite-based solution to measure the climate impact of forestry projects. The startup thus enables forest carbon project developers and forest managers to effectively measure their climate impact.

Romain Fau, Kanop co-founder

CarbonFarm, presented by Vassily Carantino & James Hastwell

CarbonFarm makes regenerative agriculture profitable for rice farmers and rice buyers, thanks to satellite-verified carbon credits. To do this, the startup monitors emissions using artificial intelligence and satellite imagery, and handles the certification of carbon credits.

Vassily Carantino & James Hastwell, CarbonFarm Co-founders

Cocoparks, presented by Raphael Jatteau

Cocoparks reduces urban pollution by 10% and streamlines city centers, thanks to real-time parking and road management. Our solution is based on a deeptech sensor 10 to 15 times more efficient than traditional technologies, a control platform, and an ultra-ergonomic app. The solution to the problem of parking and road management in city centers.

Raphael Jatteau, Cocoparks Founder

Genomines, presented by Fabien Koutchekian

Genomines unlocks a sustainable nickel supply by extracting the metal from low-concentration polluted soils, using genetically enhanced hyper-accumulating plants. Genomines produces Class 1 nickel, nickel sulfate, and nickel oxide on polluted land. In other words, the startup decontaminates land while producing and selling metal.

Fabien Koutchekian, Genomines Co-founder

Yeasty, presented by Nikola Stefanovic

Yeasty produces a protein super-ingredient – made from brewer's yeast – for the food industry. Their main technological innovation lies in eliminating the molecules responsible for beer bitterness, and using yeast recovered from brewers through a process that alters neither the product's naturalness nor its nutritional properties.

Nikola Stefanovic, Yeasty Co-founder

Spark Cleantech, presented by Erwan Pannier

I-lab Grand Prix 2022, Spark Cleantech produces decarbonized hydrogen using 4x less electricity than water electrolysis, directly on-site. Spark uses a patented pulsed cold plasma process that separates (bio)methane into hydrogen and solid carbon, thus with no CO2 emissions. The modular Spark system will be able to produce up to 1000 kg of hydrogen per day, directly on-site.

Erwan Pannier, co-founder Spark Cleantech

Stathmos, presented by Amandine Cadiau

From 2050 onwards, it will be necessary to annually extract 10 billion tons of CO2 from our atmosphere. To contribute to this fight against climate change, Stathmos offers a technological solution for atmospheric CO2 capture. Their containers, named Statbox, are capable of capturing 1000 tons of CO2 per year and can be placed anywhere on the planet.

Amandine Cadiau, founder Stathmos

PRONOE, presented by Nicolas Sdez

PRONOE is an atmospheric carbon removal project, via ocean alkalinization. The startup restores the natural capacity of surface waters to permanently capture and store atmospheric CO2 while locally mitigating surface water acidification. To do this, it develops industrial systems that produce and controllably disperse an alkaline stream from the effluents of coastal industries.

Nicolas Sdez, co-founder PRONOE

Ncodin, presented by Francesco Manegatti

Ncodin will enable its clients to unleash the computing power of their next-generation processors through light. Ncodin proposes to replace current interconnections with the development of a revolutionary nanophotonic chip, which will manage data traffic in processors dedicated to high-performance computing and artificial intelligence, and will enable its clients to meet future computing needs.

Francesco Manegatti, co-founder Ncodin
