Co-founders of the "Wood Drying" project, Patrick Perré (professor at CentraleSupélec) and Romain Rémond (University of Lorraine) are developing software for industrial dryers that predicts wood drying time, quality, energy consumption, and costs. This is based on the TransPore code, developed by Patrick Perré. It also includes a unique sensor that measures wood deformation during drying.

What is the current status of their project?
- Software declaration written, Software Protection to be filed
- Patent on the sensor to be written and filed
- Conduct a market research
- Develop a drying control logic beyond the sensor, based on intermittent energy
Technological maturity: TRL 6
