Easyrisk

Easyrisk is developing a user-friendly, end-to-end computational platform to estimate seismic risks using advanced simulations.

Using the high-performance, open-source SEM3D computational code, Filippo Gatti & Karim Tarbali, graduates of CentraleSupélec, are developing a platform that facilitates the prediction of earthquake intensity in a region and the estimation of seismic risks.

What is the status of their project?

  • Undisclosed Software Developments
  • Prototype for the Insurance Industry
  • Development 1: The creation of a platform for the pre-processing stage, which builds and updates a digital twin of a high-earthquake-risk region. It allows for the preparation and refinement of data necessary for earthquake simulation in that region.
  • Development 2: The post-processing phase, by analyzing earthquake simulation data and comparing it with real-world records. This ensures the digital twin's accuracy and helps calculate important metrics for predicting potential building damage and financial losses.
