CarbonFarm

Carbon Farm uses satellite data to certify sustainable agricultural practices.

Agriculture could become carbon negative if farmers worldwide adopted regenerative farming practices.

CarbonFarm makes regenerative agriculture profitable for rice farmers and buyers, through satellite-verified carbon credits.

To achieve this, the startup monitors emissions using artificial intelligence and satellite imagery, and we handle the certification of carbon credits.

The project is supported by the European Space Agency - ESA and will be co-mentored in partnership with AgroParisTech.

Business model > We manage the end-to-end carbon credit process, including Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) management, certification of credits by Verra or Gold Standard, and the sale of these credits on voluntary carbon markets for a commission.

Upcoming challenges >
Raise $2 million to transition from our current prototype to a commercial product, collect ground data, and continue advancing our pilot project in Vietnam covering over 3000 ha of rice paddies.

Your expectations from 21st > Networking by helping us connect with agricultural and tech companies based at Station F and beyond.
Also mentorship and administrative support.
