Seracle

Seracle provides future climate data to strengthen the resilience of infrastructure projects against climate change.

Leslie Vallet and Florent Cornet, co-founders of Seracle, a climatetech startup specializing in forward-looking climate data for infrastructure resilience

The infrastructure we build today – clean energy plants, buildings, transport networks – is designed to last for decades. Yet, it still relies on historical climate data, established in a world that no longer exists. With the increase in extreme events and accelerating climate change, designing based on the past means exposing long-term investments to risks no one anticipated. Seracle translates advanced climate science into forward-looking datasets, ready-to-use, that engineering teams can integrate directly into their simulations. A bridge between cutting-edge climate research and daily infrastructure decisions – to shift design from a past climate to a future climate.

The next step

Seracle is focusing on three priorities for the coming year: confirming recurring commercial traction , deploying its go-to-market strategy, and closing a funding round to accelerate its development. Three key initiatives that outline the trajectory of a startup ready to scale.

Why 21st by CentraleSupélec?

At the intersection of climate science and engineering, Seracle needs an environment that understands both worlds. 21st by CentraleSupélec provides it with coaching and mentoring tailored, a network of key players in the deeptech and industrial ecosystem, and access to scientific collaborations high-level — valuable resources for a startup whose value relies as much on academic rigor as on commercial execution.
